Hi Jeff,
I have two gunongs with such a casted ferrule/guard combo in my collection, both are very old examples, I guess 19th century, see the elongated pommels. So I guess that the one you got is of the same age, I think that we have an early gunung here. BTW, I count 11 luks. Regards, Detlef |
