Thanks! I vote for Faca de Ponta as well, but like you said, the pierced blades not typical for Brazilian knifes. So, there is a chance that it was made in Europe for Brazilian market.

What do you think about this small dagger? Is it possible that this is early American Naval dirk?
Scabbard and crossguard is silver and handle is mother of pearl, 7-1/4" long overall....
