Thanks! I vote for Faca de Ponta as well, but like you said, the pierced blades not typical for Brazilian knifes. So, there is a chance that it was made in Europe for Brazilian market.

Could it be a Spanish blade that has been rehandled in Brazil,etc?
The blade is just like an early-mid 19th C Spanish punal I use to have. Just a thought. Rich |
