Default ethno sword cane with curious handle

Hello dear members,
I just receive this intersting curious sword cane,
The two first pictures were from the seller.

It seems have it’s age ,
Îm akready trying to clean it the best I can

I wonder about the origin :
Afghan ?
Indian ?
Berber / Algerian ?

And about the use ( especially fot the curious handle shape:

A fakir/ dervish kutch ? ( but it’s big, 90cm high)
A status stick more than a walking stick ?( bottom ferule is made of silver )
A drum major mace/stick with concealed blade ?

Glad to hear some news.
Kind regards
