The year draws to an end. Let's make a kris gathering for some holiday sights and cheers! Post your favorite kris from your collection. Keris are also welcome!
Here's mine, a Tausug kalis. |

I have only one in my collection, so the decision was not really hard
A Keris Palembang with a fine carved ivory hilt and a very nice blade. Merry christmas in advance, Robin |

Well, for some reason i have not really photographed any of my Moro kris collection.
Though it does seems...well, unseemly, to post keris outside of the keris forum here is one of my favorite keris. Happy Holidays everyone!

Lovely keris examples! I'm beginning to develop a keris fondness and seeing why they're addicting to collect as well! Rick, really nice archaic twistcore kalis!

Nice old archaic Sulu kris with horn hilt and suassa fittings. Simple but elegant.

Elegant archaic kalis Ian. The horn hilt-suassa combination is topnotch! Hope all's going well down under

OK, i do have one photo of my favorite Moro kris. This kris is particularly special to me because it is actually the very first ethnographic edged weapon i ever acquired. This is what started my passion. If there could only be one...
The fittings on the hilt are a fairly high grade silver and the asang-asang is suassa. ...and a Blessed Krismas to you all.
