Nice formal Madura dress. Love the knot work in the hilt. Nice old blade.

Nice hilt. You can send this one to the Netherlands any time.
Th eposition of the hilt however seems a little bit out the centre compared with the sacbbard. How is the fit of the blade into the scabbard ? Best regards, Willem |

Hi again,
Madura sheat is called daunan and it's a shame that the sheat is missing a broken piece, you still have it? And the blade seems indeed very nice and need a warangan. The hilt is very nice. Willem (asomotif) is correct, the position isn't fine when the blade with hilt is inside the sheat, most probably it is a composition piece. |

I love this hilt..
![]() I think that if u can get a stain on this blade you would be happily suprised by the nice pamor. May i ask if u use a sort of lacker or polish on the Wranka ? It shine,s so nice , the same with the bugis wranka . Gr, |
