			Hopefully you will have enough tang to acommodate both guard and pommel . Maybe it should be carved from 1 piece and the separation line cut in and filled with ink .   |

			Well Rick,  Your remark is a very valid one That tang is really short but this is not a real kampilan that will be utilized. I can glue the tang inside the pommel and I think, I could even get rid of the metallic guard. Kampilans have a very special type of guard, which is very different than the one on my miniature kampilan and I will not try to reproduce it. I will follow your suggestion and carve it in one or two pieces. May be I can copy Battara's one ! Regards Michel |
