Sorry, IMHO an old blade in an new fanatasy dress.
![]() ![]() Cleaning the blade will not help much. Often these blades are laminated, but with this heavy pitting it will never become a good looker. Try the search function on this website for rentjong and/or rencong There are several nice examples in various threads. From tourist , to good old "Aceh war period"pieces and even "royal" examples. thank's for comment. That's what I thought already. The blade is cleaned but the pittings really deep. by the way, i have a nice rentjong. I was unsure if a dress like this maybe common in other region then Aceh. sajen |
