Advice on shrinked scabbards?

With a combination of both advices and a little force.

Very nice sanduko bolo -- these are very uncommon and hard to find in such good condition. Lovely hilt.

Must get Battara to take a look at this one -- Jose, what you think one of these silver hilts would cost to make?

Have you identified the domed coins that are used on this hilt ?
As I recall it is missing one or two on the other side , no ?
These could probably be easily replaced .

Silver is a snap to work with .

Yes, it's the opposite "ear-part" that is missing a coin and 2 smaller silver disks. Not sure if I really want to replace it.

I should have qualified that statement a little ; work such as this is fairly easy ; when I was a kid we all made rings from silver quarters ; lots of tapping on the edge and after a few hours , drill out the center and file smooth .

Now repousse and engraving etc. that's a whole 'nother ball game .
