My only piece from the Tiv culture. About 14", wood. Tiv pieces are quite rare in the artifact collecting arena. Got this at an estate sale of a major African collector. Another collector was looking at it, when he turned away, I grabbed it and took it to the cashier......

The dagger arrived the other day. Here are a few pics with another one in my collection the newer addition seems more stylized the other more of a get down to business piece.
