Please Gentlemen,
It seems as i can not cease thinking about this piece, and i consider making an offer to the seller ( a local one ) if i find nothing serious against its more apparently apealling particularities. Would end 18th century be possible? And would this imply in a parade item, or did they use these on the field at that time ? Are the six bosses, instead of four, not a current procedure, or typical of a certain area ? Would the missing grips be leather ? And last but not least, do these dhals usually appear on the market in a better condition and in large quantities, or is this a piece advised to collect? Thanks for further help. Fernando |
