Looks like a putut at both sides. probably heavy coroded due the etching.
Putut kembar is probably the dapur. Sepang???? Don't know.......... |

That the pictures turn out with more red pixels looking like corroded. But I seconded the idea that the blade has been wear-off due to age and etching probably. Looks like 2 pututs there. Hmm...

Dhapur "regol" has two "gandhiks" (the front of the base of keris), with no "sekar kacang" (elephant's nose). You may differ with dhapur "sepang" that has two "wadidangs" (the rear of the base of keris). If there are two "puthuts" (like hindhu of budha priest relief), then you may call it as dhapur "regol puthut". (This is a logical name, based on the details of the keris) In "puthut kembar" (twin puthut), one priest relief placed in the gandhik, and the other in the wadidang. But in this keris, the twin puthut are on the twin gandhik. Thus, this is a "regol puthut", or "puthut regol"... Ganjawulung |
