Hallo Carlos et all, the date is 1806, not 1866!
The dagger is for sure balkan, it can be Greek from Epirus but i cannot say that for sure. I am posting photos of a similar dagger, made obviously by the same maker, although this is made with niello work, and there is gold leaf in some pasts. The date is the same!

Efthis, you also have a nice piece, appears to be brass and silver with niello.
