Thanks for posting the pictures BI. I glad to see that the Mamluk minbar is still there. I was hoping some pieces from the old arms and armour collection might get included, oh well, never mind.
Here's hoping that they eventually decide to refurbish and reopen the A&A galleries. I was going to go with my wife last weekend but I got caught in heavy traffic on the M1. I'm planning on going again when the kids have their mid-term holiday. |

Thanks for the heads up. I will have to visit next time I am in town. By the way...does anyone know if they are displaying the early Islamic ceramic dish from khorasan with the guy with his straight sword?
