Not anything much I an add to what David has written Kelly.

FB is probably a great social site, but its format is not really conducive to serious keris discussion.

I personally do have some difficulty in classifying some blades from photos, & as for giving the name of a maker, well, regrettably the data is simply not there, it all becomes a matter of belief, rather than supportable fact, & that is still true even when we have the keris in our hands.

I think I would give the blade a vinegar clean, it is possible that this could show some contrast in the ferric material, but I agree with David that it is extremely unlikely that there could be any meteoritic material in it.

The present wrongko is beyond a repair that would permit the ladrangan form to be retained, somebody with skill & understanding could possibly reshape it into a kacir wrongko, but it would perhaps be preferable to get hold of a new gayaman wrongko & pendok and fit it. If you wish to pursue this idea, please PM me.

If somebody wants to tag this keris as "super langka", yeah, it is.

Why?

Because it was made by an unranked pandai who failed to follow the correct form, & where keris are concerned, conformity is everything.
