Default Paktong pipe with knife

Antique Asian Paktong pipe with a peacock and hidden knife from around 1900, handmade filigree and engraved decoration.

Most likely from the Chinese Straits region (Maleisia, Singapore or Southeast China), where around 1900 luxurious smoke accessiories from paktong or AKA baitong, a traditional alloyy of cupper, nickel and zinq were very popular.
Decorated with silver filigree and elegant decorations .

A nice detail here is the hidden steel knife with a double functionality:

1. to clean the pipe
2. to cut the smoking substance
