Red face Please Pardon

May I inquire about my Yatagan; please excuse if I am interrupting the thread.

The pattern in the steel has me quite confused. Serdar, have you ever seen a Yat blade with this type of forging?
Parts of the surface seem almost crystallized.

I have never seen a blade like this; then again, I don't get out much.

Any input by anyone would be much appreciated.

Hmm, picture isnt much, but to me it looks like i dont know name, but bladesmith took diferent parts of steel quality and result was “damasc” looking blade, i seen it on saber blades but not on yatagan.

I dont say it is that, but reminds me on that.
I realy dont know, can you take better picture under sunlight maybe?
