You can make a good series of measurements and send pics and there are several people able to fashion a sheath to size.

I have done this 3 times and it came back slightly smaller a fit and I was able to find someone to make the final adjustments made.

In the NL we are fortunate enough to have a few people whom are more than capable to stain krises but this is not the case elsewhere.

You cannot find them on line they are local artisans and they only speak the local language.

I have got in touch with a, European broker who lives in Bali and buys and sells krises from all over the place , he also sells parts. I also know a Dutch dealer with experience in woodwork but he only goes to Indonesia every mow and then. There is also a shop around here which sells parts (but cannot provide the expertise to make them to measure).
