Modification to the keris blade by altering its dapor is unethical. It does damage to the industry as well.
Instead, it is better to commission a new piece with this dapur and describe it as a new keris. Rather than alterating an existing blade and claiming it to be an original old keris. (imo only). Ultimately, the one who will pay the price is the ill-informed collector.
