) It is broad enough that it could be a spontoon. In reviewing the languets, I'd retract my possible Chinese polearm possibility and stick with either a pike head or spontoon ca. 18th. Do we have any info of where it was found? Dug relic?

Certainly appears to me to be a Revolutionary War era pike head. It is not nearly as crude as many designs of the period.
I have one example, but yours is far nicer. |
