			Excelent pistol. The way Manton's name is inlaid on the barrel and engraved on the lockplate, may be seen out there in pistols attributed to elder brother John.

			I have noticed that Joseph Manton usually signed his work with his full name, which would suggest that this pistol (a beauty, by the way) is by John Manton, as Fernando reckons. But this is not a guarantee! Well done. Both brothers were supreme masters of their trade. Neil |
