Hi, it is in Greek, it states "Kydonie" and "Aivali" The Greek and Turkish name of a then mainly Greek city in Asia Minor (today in modern Turkey "Ayvalik") September 16th 1910.

Any idea why the number 1327 (1909) in Arabic does not match 1910? Could the date have any relation to persecution against the Greek population of Aivali which presumably commenced in 1910? There is also a word in Arabic in the middle section of cartouche. Could someone translate it as well? |
