The sepokal blade of your bugis blade is designed that way. It's not an apple to apple comparison to a bahari/anak alang/alang class blade.
Bugis Sepokal blades does have an angular profile. On second thought, yours is an angular profile too, so NO luk for you. Therefore Rick, yours is an Anak Alang (no luks).
