I am thinking the old repair on the stock in the first photo could be a possible second chain loop location which seems to be featured on many true antique miniature wheellocks but I am unsure

As far as I know, miniatures of wheellockpistols used as a sort of personal decoration are much smaller than the pistol you show us. So I think that your pistol, which might be much too large to be used as jewellery, has never had loops for a chain. The very small miniatur made by Michael Mann is approximatly 50 mm long and has two loops, but I think your pistol is nearly three times as long.

Very good point, that makes sense, I have had trouble accurately dating my wheellock pistol as I have had some experts saying that indeed it is original 17th century and some saying possibly 19th century. I have also looked at some of the screws but again I cannot come to a date myself. What is your opinion based off the photographs I have submitted

I think I know your pistol since some time when I saw it at an US dealer. In my opinion your pistol has been made during the 19. century. Its style and the way it is made are certainly against an earlier dating - just my opinion and feeling.
