I've forgot to bid on that
That's true and the haladie I think is Sudanese or syrian, not Indian. |

Well, one out of three is... BAD....
I have made a fool of myself. BUT, it was for the benefit of the Newbies, , just to show them not to be afraid!! (that's my ego-saving mechanism speaking) |

LOL!!! YES THATS THE WAY IT GOES SOMETIMES
I OFTEN STICK MY NECK OUT ON SUBJECTS I AM NOT VERY KNOWLEGABLE IN ESPECIALLY IF A POST IS GOING UNANSWERED. THINGS CHANGE ALL TOO OFTEN I USED TO HAVE SEVERAL NAMES FOR DAYAK SWORDS BUT IT GOT TOO CONFUSING AS TO WHAT WAS WHAT AND WHY SO NOW I CALL THEM ALL DAYAK SWORDS AGAIN. THAT IS ONE OF THE GOOD THINGS ABOUT USING ALL CAPS NO ONE TAKES ME TOO SERIOUSLY

On far too many occasions I have asked our Moro gang to define to me (us?)
the confusing varieties of Moro/Visayan swords. They throw all those "binangon, "pinute" and who only knows what other monikers around and I sit in front of the screed feeling like a dummy (deservedly, probably...) Guys, for the love of God, I have written haikus for you, so do me a favor: Somebody, please show pics of different varieties and explain what defines them as such! |
