Pretty much along the same lines as the 2 posted in this thread:

Name will very likely depend on the ethnic group (once this can assigned to a specific group with any reasonable certainty) or village... Possibly one of the generic words for sword like kelewang or alameng won't be too far off the mark, I guess.

Yes, this makes sense since the blade shape is very similar, also when the one in the from you posted thread is much smaller.

With Alameng I can live very well, when you look to "Senjata Pusaka Bugis" there are also many swords just called as Alameng.
