You found it! A Fijian Ula, a type of throwing club. The bone or shell inlays are done later, often by collectors and counterfeiters to spice them up.
Patina-wise this example looks 19th century with 20/21th century bone inlay. |

Interesting to compere with some African status sticks. The inlay being a twentieth century addition in reality is only an unproven opinion.
