still did not use sandpaper did yah , well now you cleaned away the evidence.
If you had used sand paper only the surface would be cleaned and the black would be way better visible showing hammer strokes.

Actually I did use sandpaper. I'm afraid there are no hammer strokes. Or I rubbed it to hard...

Thank you for the drawing! They are hard to spot but there are indeed some irregulareties.
