Default Kurdish Dagger!

A friend of mine have this dagger and he doesn´t know anything about it...
The sheath looks like it has been stripped...
Should be grateful for opinions so I can tell him what you think...

Best,
Stefan

I don't think it's been stripped; looks to be complete, just very basic village work. Everyone needs a knife, but not everyone has the funds for fancy ornamentation.

Most of the Kurdish daggers I've seen are rather more ornate. This one is obviously authentic, not a piece ginned up for tourists, which makes it an object of interest.
