A pair of Tebu Daggers

Thank you for showing this interesting daggers. I think that these "3dimensional" ones occur rarely. Yours is the second I have ever seen. The first one is mine. It was acquired in Libya years ago. Enclosed is the picture.

Hi Drac,
As Marcin said,the first one is very interesting it looks like an old Wadai or Darfur dagger. It looks almost like a spear head. The second one is what you could buy in Chad in the 1970ties, the blade is made of truck's springs.

Thank you, gentlemen, for your observations; the smaller one is certainly better made than the larger one.
My dagger has the handle wrapped in Kuba cloth; do you think that it is missing the reptilian covering and that is what is underneath the covering?

I have the following scabbard that I have had in my lose ends box
if it looks like a fit let me know and i will give it to you for nothing (just give a euro or two to a charity of your choice)
blade length 17cm blade width around 3 cm
