Yes, when you read older threads there was always a discussion South America versus Mediterraean orgin by very old knives. Naturally!

There is also the chance that it is Brazilian dagger from an other region.

Could it be a Spanish blade that has been rehandled in Brazil,etc?
The blade is just like an early-mid 19th C Spanish punal I use to have.
