Welcome to the forum!
This seems to be an old pedang blade; possibly pamor adeg - sharper pics would help to confirm. The scabbard and the hilt are a more recent addition - pretty much the same concept as with Japanese storage scabbards. Thus, not that much of a loss. The value certainly is in the blade and pics will help to address quality as well as suitable strategies for improved staining. Regards, Kai |

Hello Rockelk,
Welcome to the forum. I agree with Kai but I don't think that you need to polish the blade and give it a new etch, I just would remove the few rust spots. Regards, Detlef |
