Thumbs up Kalinga hatchet and shield
Ganda! Very impressive Kalinga items. Do you have any pictures you can e-mail? I just purchased a similar shield, but the rattan is missing. How long is the hatchet?

spirit orbs??? there's quite a few of them...

I've noticed quite a few of these "orbs" when photographing my collection too but not being very superstitious always chalked them up as dust particles either in the air or on the camera lens.

I took a copy of the the picture and re balanced the shading, and saw the reflections of all of the orbs in the sheet metal in the right of the picture. There is a lot going on in this picture. Mostly centered around the shield

Ok finally - the blade from tip to terminal spike is 12.5 inches and from top of blade to bottom of shaft is 26 inches.
