DrD,

The surface of the blade and the edges are to smooth for an old tombak. Just like keris the blades of tombak where etched with lime juice and warangan. When you have an old tombakblade you would have noticed that the surface and the edges had the same corosionprocess as an old kerisblade because of the arsic.
