Maybe Ottoman date 1211, don't know about two vertical lines " -_". Blede is heavy T shape almost 1 cm wide at the back. Blade is not flat but has nice profile towards the cutting edge like in 18.th century calvary swords, I din't saw this type of edge in other Yatagans. Correctly, writtings looks like in thre diferent styles. Also see some numbers in last bold text...very interestig.
Hope to find out what are the meanings the rest of the texts. Bojan Last edited by triglav; 1st November 2017 at 01:42 PM. |

The rest of diferent signatures realy needs a Turk language expert. Last bolded text were made with a tehniqe that I never saw before..letters are made and filled with tiny "rounded" lines, not hamerred like rest of the signatures..Also find some numbers in this "bolded" text..
Thank you and best regards, Bojan |

The date is 1214 (1799-1800). The final 4 is written Persian-style (۴) not Arabic (٤)
