Greetings,Such type of silver work has also been seen in Jambiyas from Kutch,Gujarat ,India
In Bhuj there were many famous silver smiths who did beautiful work such as this example due to old trade routes

Thank you for the info, I couldn't find any inscriptions on the scabbard. As you can see I posted images of the hilt as requested, any insights into the material?

As noted It does seem to be quite a high quality weapon perhaps indicating Jewish work. For a specialist view on these daggers I suggest the Book ...The new complete book by Stephen Gracie on these fascinating daggers – the result of years of collecting and many trips to Yemen.
