Battara,
Absolutely beautiful displays. If you would, please post more information and show more pictures of the armour. Robert |

Battara,
Isn't that one of those rare Barongs with kamagong hilt with inlaid ivory? Could you please post a close up for us to admire? Michael |

Thank you folks. Been wanting to do this for a while.
Here is a link on Federico's site for the kris in the display: http://www.home.earthlink.net/~feder...sacollage.html And here is the link for the barong (yes VVV, it is one of those rare barongs ):http://www.home.earthlink.net/~feder...ngcollage.html I will post more closeups of the kris (possibly barong if can find them) and the armour in the next couple of days. |

Here are closeups of the kris with ivory, silver, and swaasa. I made the scabbard from scratch.

Here are some pictures (front and back) of the Moro armour made of horn and brass plates, and brass chain maille. I have yet to restore it (another 10 year project
).

As far as closeups of the barong are concerned, this is all I have at present. If I can get better closeups I will post them.

Just for good measure, here is a picture of the Kalinga datu brass mounted head axe (with white metal engraved end).
