why ? because nobody copying old sumatran / bugis keris, whereas we know there are empus in Sumenep specializing in make putran blade, which almost indistinguishable from the originals they even managed to age the blade so it looked old and it was very difficult for beginners to spot it |

The both shown blades are from Peninsula IMVHO and not from Sumatra!
