I got the description "A fine North African Primer flask, possibly Tuareg" This small finely crafted primer flask measures approx 10cms long. It is in good working order and is well preserved for its age. The surfaces are engraved throughout with the spring and arm being plain except for a coral insert to the end cover. The sprung arm is pierced for a suspension loop and the larger end is mounted with a spire, most likely used for opening the end for filling, an area which is seized. A fine and rare African primer flask. Indeed a very reputable dealer, but everybody does mistake including me. Its not an African primer flask and I would like to see a Tuareg primer flask. I have never see any and I know very well North African firearms... Reply to your thread mentions Oman too. Maybe let's see what other members think? Best, |
