Here is one I don't know much about. The seller thought it was Persian. A friend and fellow collector thought North African, which seems right to me. It is 14.5" overall with a 9" blade. I believe it is camel bone decorated with brass and two other materials I have not yet identified. I believe the red decoration is the same as is used in much of North Africa. Does anyone know what it or the black decoration is? I don't think either is paint as my fingernail has no effect on it. Thanks for any help!

I agree about this being Moroccan. The "stones" could also be colored bone......
