Well, it looks like the Flask found a gun to mate with. ![]() That is a nice looking Jazail. Great overall patina. And made as a percussion, not a conversion. In my opinion, just the right amount of pearl inlay. It really shows well against that paticular stock color. I especially like the barrel bands and trigger guard. And note the method of attachment for the front part of the sling with the forged iron supports. That's the most common method I've seen on Jazails. No dought on this gun's origin. Probably made sometime during the last half of the 19th Century. Again, nice gun. Really displays well. Rick. |
