Hi,
Thanks to all for the input. It seems you were right all along Rajesh and Tibet/Nepal it is. Appears you have a thing for Buddhas which is completely understandable. I bought all of the statues in the understanding that they were relatively modern so no big surprises as to their age. The little bronze creatures I believe are mythical beasts from the land of Himmapan and I am still trying to identify the exact name for each, Singha was the keyword I needed so thanks again Rajesh. ![]() ![]() ![]() My Regards, Norman. Hi Stu,
At first I thought it was definitely Thai or that region but I did a lot of searching and to be honest I'm still confused as to generalised styles. Rajesh looks to have a good bit of knowledge judging by his collection and also Sajen's friend whom he states has good knowledge of the subject also i.d's it as Tibet/Nepal. ![]() My Regards, Norman. |
