They both look to be of the same manafacture and the wear is v similar so I assume they come from same location Would we be talking 50 years old or 200? Cheers Ken |

the heads maybe older than the hafts. the stone axe one doesn't look north american tho.

I assume the leather would be long gone on items of this sort of age,
Surely 200 years would be pushing it on potential age, or can it survive a lot longer this is completely outside any comfort zone of mine. I will have to think about purchasing now as these items are becoming more and more interesting Thanks Ken |

Just my opinion but the axe looks off to me. I don't know of anything being made of sandstone in my part of the US (La/Tx) and we have plenty of it around. The mace looks interesting. The fact that they match would make me think they're relatively new though.
