exactly what I've thought byself about this keris when I bought it. I doubt that the sheath was made for this blade but you never know. I will see it when I have it in my hands. Thank you very much for comment.

Maybe Madura or maybe Sumatra, just look the material, the material not bugis material, but the same materials with madura/javanese keris

nobody speak here about Bugis, sarung and hulu with pendokok clearly Peninsula, the question was from where the blade could come.

My thoughts as well. Malay does not necessarily equal Bugis and no one ever suggested this was a Bugis blade. The possibilities of Madura or Sumatra had already been raised more than once. Nothing new here...

Well, not from these photographs and in that rusted condition, though i do understand that blade materials can often point to various origins when they can be observed well and proper.
