Most interesting pieces.
Their overall shape is coherent with halberds carried in Spain by Royal Guard Halberdiers, namely those of King Carlos IV (1788-1808), his son Fernando VII (1808-1833) and his daughter Queen Isabel 2ª (1833-1868) ... see PDF article. Those of yours sure look like a 'colonial' version and, even so, a 'special edition', judging by the religious aspect, with the crucifixes. . |
