Thanks for the show Tatyana…you might want to re-post just the keris images over on the keris forum. I am sure there are many of our members over there who would want to see these and they might miss them posted here.

Thumbs up

TATYANA THANKS FOR A INTERESTING, AND MOUTH WATERING POST YOUR PICTURES ARE VERY GOOD CONSIDERING THE PROBLEMS ASSOCIATED WITH TAKING GOOD PICTURES ESPECIALLY THRU CASES AND OFTEN POOR LIGHT IN MUSEUMS.
THIS SORT OF POST SERVES SEVERAL IMPORTANT FUNCTIONS.
1. IT MAKES US AWARE OF THE COLLECTIONS AND WE CAN ENJOY THE PICTURES.
2. PERHAPS SOMEONE MAY SEE SOMETHING THAT WILL EITHER INSTIGATE RESEARCH OR HELP IN ONGOING RESEARCH.
3. PERHAPS SOME OF US MAY VISIT THE MUSEUM HELPING THE LOCAL ECONOMY AND MUSEUM.

A LIST OF VARIOUS MUSEUMS PICTURES AND POSTS PUT IN CLASSICS OR AT THE FRONT OF THE FORUM HOME PAGES WOULD BE A NICE REFERENCE INDEX IF SOMEONE HAS THE TIME, DESIRE OR SKILLS TO DO IT.

Great to see pictures of one of my favorite Museum. Everything of the collection is great. The Formosa section is admirable, represented here by a very good Atayal and a nice Paiwan knives. Thanks!
