...I agree. The shaft has been cut down - some are very long.

Hi people,
Thanks for information, nice to get some information on the spear
And the link was very informative
The shaft is not bamboo though but I presume there was a lot of variation on this
Interesting I live not too far wolseley,s old estate so a soldier bring back brings up some ideas.
