Another Moro Spear to Examine

Here is my wavy blade spear. I never tried to etch this to see if there is any pattern worth showing. Ferrule on mine is brass. The length of the blade is about 10 in. long.
I don't see many of these wavy ones about, so good score for you.

Well like we thought, no twist core, but still nice Charles.

David - I would love to see yours etched.

I think both the shape and the chiseling on your example are superior to mine. I agree with Jose that an etch might bring out something very interesting.

I only ever etched Moro blades with vinegar. Any other suggestions out there for best results?

This kris: http://www.vikingsword.com/vb/showth...highlight=kris from my collection with similar lamination like Charles spear point was etched also with vinegar. But I know that blades sometimes don't react by vinegar.
