Exclamation

This is permitted under the rules, Alex. Hopefully you can get eBay to shut it down before someone gets scammed.

Quote:
Can I warn the community of obvious fraud, for example if I see my own photographs of items in my collection being offered in an auction: An important permitted exception is the posting of links/auction numbers to pending (non-closed) auctions is when one has reliable proof that the auction is fraudulent. Reliable proof includes first-hand knowledge about the item in question (e.g. it is something you own, and someone has violated copyright by using your own photos to offer to sell your property).

Alex, If I were you id bid a million dollars on it, in about 20 separate bids building up each time....... $10,$100$1000,$5000 etc.etc. to save him "selling" it for cash quickly.

That way any cash sale offer will probably come to you....

Might help Untill ebay get there act together....

Alex, don't have hope that ebay will do something, I have had the same two times some years ago with a salawaku I have listed on ebay in my early beginning of ebay sales, this shield reached a price $2550 but by some reason this shield is still in my collection until today. Both "seller" used my pictures and my description. I contacted ebay but they have done nothing so I have done what spiral write in a similar way to prevent a possible buyer to lose a lot of money. Since I have contacted the "sellers" also, without any answer of course, I never get an invoice.

Regards,
Detlef

Pay attention: PayPal is accepted ONLY on items < $500. After that, - bank transfer. Shipping is "guaranteed" after a month wait. During this time, E-Bay will do nothing : they will tell you to wait a bit more.
More than enough time for the scammer to get the money, close the bank account permanently and to disappear without a trace.

Sajen, looks like you're right. eBay shows no interest, they did not even ask for details
As others noted, this is a "bank transfer and run" scam from likely hacked account.
