Yes, that's it Iain. There is also another similarly hilted sword from the Sudan, but with a wooden and sometimes bone hilt, but a longer blade. Other Sudanese items of material culture are thought to originate from Ancient Egypt/Nubia, such as headrests and lyres. H'mm...
